Hi all, I want to do the Delmarva in the near future and am trying to glean information from y'all. How do I need to prepare, how much crew, provisions, etc. Which way, clockwise or counter. Any info will be appreciated. I hope to go in April. Are there groups who do this? Thanks, Jake Haynie

Circumnavigating Delmarva
Several years ago in June, we took 3 34' boats up the Chesapeake, across the C&D canal, down the Delaware to Lewes, then outside on a long stormy overnight from Ocean City MD all the way to the Chesapeake bridge tunnel and into Little Creek. Then 3-4 days north bound to Reedville, Chrisfield, Solomons, Annapolis and Tolchester. The north bound leg in the Bay was mostly light air, but we were sailing most of the trip. An appropriate crew on the overnight leg would be two two person watches.
