The fella who lost the dog anchors near our marina. He's had problems with crabbers dropping their gear over his ground tackle. He left them a, none too pleasant, note on one of their buoys. Then this happened. The authorities are now questioning the owner of the crab traps. Anyone else have any problems with commercial fishermen in and around their marinas? First incident I've heard of here in NE Florida.

There are some REALLY sick people in this world. I wouldn't think twice about taking a bat to anyone who would do this.

very sad. We sail everywhere with our Golden Retriever as we did with his predecessor. Dogs are an important part of boating, both power and sail. For many people they are their sole (soul) companion.
