I have a 96 H26. Does anyone know if there is a Dodger that I can buy for my sailboat or do I just have to have a local shop make?

Thank you,

We have one!

Our h26 has a pop top camper enclosure, which doubles as a dodger. Not sure if you can buy them aftermarket.

I bought one through the chandlery on this web site and have been very pleased with it. You have options as to screens or just windows. Check them out.

I have the pop top camper enclosure for the boat but I have never tried to sail with it up. It came with the boat when I bought it. I just have to rebend the rear bar so that it is a little tighter.

According to the Chandlery.......

The pop top is not to be used while underway.

Guess it is because it is not a true Dodger, no window forward.

No Dodger

I have only seen Poptops in the Chandlery, and because they block forward visability, don't function very well as a Dodger.

Anyone Have Pics?

I have a 96 H26 and would really like to see some examples of the dodger. If anyone has pictures they can post I'd very much appreciate seeing them.

Here's a similar 1998 H260 poptop

I have a pop top for my 1998 H260, which is very similar I think to your 1996 H26. Here is a photo of it from front and back - obviously sailing <grin>.

This is the pop top for our 1998 H260, which should be very similar to your 1996 H26, from front and back views. Obviously, we're sailing with it up <grin>.
