Hey folks. I just removed my dodger windshield( flexable clear plastic) and need to know the best way to store it for the summer? Should it be folded? rolled? laid flat? It is rather large since it fits a Cat 30. Am thanking you in advance. Roy

It can be folded, but ...

place 100% cotton towels that are perfectly dry between and around the fold. Then store it in a cool dark place. This should protect the clear plastic from abrasion, and will from drying out in the Sun or heat. This works for automotive convertible tops as well. ;^) ~ Happy sails to you ~ _/) ~

Store your clear plastic...

...items by rolling them loosely. I guess you clould roll it up with a towel as Ed mentioned, or maybe an old cotton T-shirt. I wouldn't fold it at all, as they tend to get creases which tend to crack sooner than if you didn't fold it at all. I also agree with Ed to store it in a cool place away from sunlight (plastic's worst enemy after sand & knives!) By the way, I don't have a dodger, but I do have a Triumph TR4A convertible! They use the same stuff. Folding the rear 'glass' is a big NO-NO. sMOOTH sAILING! Jim Maroldo s/v: Lil' Wass Ett
