I have a 1978 Catalina 27 and have an opportunity to purchase a used two bow (7/8 stainless)dodger made by Peter Eyre sails & dodgers in southern England. I do not know what boat the dodger was on, but the windows are almost new and the canvas is in good condition. The price will allow for modifications. The bow dimensions are 31.5 " high x 74.8" across. I have read sailrite's dodger instructions & Bill Hershey's commentary on his dodger. My request is for help with actual dimensions on dodgers and dimensions for mounting locations. Methods of dealing with the suport across the companionway hatch and the height above the hatch to the dodger needed. Any measurements for dodgers greatly appreciated.
