Has anyone had success rejuvenating the acrylic windows on old dodgers. What product and techniques worked for you? Thank you for your insight.

I have used Meguirer products...

I have used Mequire(?spelling?) plastic cleaners/polish products before with great success. On several old boats with old yellowed and scratched plactic windows, I was able to wash them, then use the cleaner and polish to get them look like new again. They have a cleaner wax which 1st removes most of the dirt, scratches and yellowing. Then the polish really brings out the shine and make them look like new. It takes a bit of elbow grease but after an hour or so, my old dodgers were nice and clear again. I then just use some polish about once a year to keep them in good shape.

strataglass

Strataglass, one of newer materials dodger and enclosure windows are made from has a range of cleaning products to treat plastic window materials. Most shops who make dodgers will either stock or know where to get the cleaners. One of the products is described as a "polish" and is supposed to remove scratches and some yellowing. Sorry I can't tell you the name of the stuff but if you look on-line for the Strataglass web site I suspect you'll get a lead to the full line of maintenance products. Good luck, Mike

I had no success at all with several methods -

starting with 303. I am a big fan of 303, but for some reason, after I used it on our dodger windows, they became increasingly cloudy over the next month or two, and I could never get it to go away. I also tried Novus plastic polish, starting with the coarsest and working up to the finest. While this helped somewhat, the windows were difficult to see clearly through - especially at night. I finally ended up taking the dodger to Harken's canvas department (in Pewaukee), and had them put new windows in - the cost was a around $175 - and we have a very large dodger. Had I known what the cost would be, I probably would have skipped the other steps :)

Klear-To-Sea

I use a product called "Klear-To-Sea ." I loaned it to a friend to try on his 20 year old dodger windows and he was very impressed with it. I have also used Rolite for removing/polishing scuff marks.
