I have two related questions. 1) Do any one out there know of a good source for a placque for displaying documentation numbers? 2) Where have other C36 owners attached their documentation number placque? Thanks in advance. Don Hall, Windsong III

Don, just find a friend that likes to do woodworking and he/she can easily make one with a saw and Router. If you do not know any one, stop by the local high school and see if their woodworking class could help you out. They are always looking a few extra bucks for a simple project. I mounted my numbers in the back of one of the cabinets on the starboard side in the main salon. Any place you like will probably do. Hope this helps.

Don, Its nice to display your documentation numbers on a plaque and I agree with the other responses as to how to do it but, I would inform you that documentation numbers, by law, must be affixed to the boat in such a way that removal would leave an imprint of the numbers. When I did my 28 MKII I used black stick on numbers which I stuck to the hull --- this must be in an area that is easily found, I used the storage area under the setee. After the numbers are fixed you coat them with clear epoxy the liquid stuff that they poor on tables. I brushed it on. This meets all the law requirements and if you have your boat Coast Guard inspected they will check. I also have a nice plaque with the boat name and numbers mounted on a forward bulkhead.
