Document My Catalina 30

I have purchased a 1983 Catalina 30 and it is hovered on land now and I am working on it to get it right. I want to document my boat and do not know how to do that and would like help from someone to get me started. What do I do first.Thanks

It's Not Hard

Go to the USCG National Documentation Center (website, below) and follow the instructions. Better have a clear title & original paperwork though.--RonD

Contact US Coast Guard

Call 800-799-8362. This number is for the National Vessel Documentation Center of the USCoast Guard.Its a fairly simple process but does involve paper work and yearly renewal and a fee. The best part is it replaces,at least in California, state registration.Also,it is usually recognized as a better chain of title.
