Dock stick storage

Looking for ideas on how to store my dock stick in an easily accessible place. I saw a mod I like that had it clipped under the companion way access. Trying to find the right clips have been a challenge. I tried plastic clips for a kyack paddle but they were too small. I can get shovel storage clips from a hardware store but I really would prefer stainless steel.

ive been using boat hooks on my power boats for the past 45 years, and never once have I ever heard it referred to as a dock stick...

but here is what i did on my 25 to solve the issue with all the long pointy things that were in the way all the time...

a 4" pvc tube will hold the boat hook, the 2 pop top supports, the wind scoop, the whisker pole, and a pair of boom tent spreaders...., and then a nice stainless or buffed aluminum trim ring to make it look like it was meant to be there....

it keeps things at the ready all the time, and out of the way forever.....

I use a telescoping boat hook. It fits nicely behind the cockpit cushions.

here are a couple more of the storage tube... and lots of pages of my other mods to our 25 here. I have done many more mods and pics of them that I dont have in my album yet.... a loved boat is forever an ongoing project
