long periods of time ? any concerns leaving unattended over a few weeks ? do you find it works ? or is it wiser to get a small dedicated dehumidifier emptying into the bildge

Hi Bob, our Marine Air units do not have that mode...

but during the winter months I have three drier units (one in each cabin) running along with a small space heater set on low that does a good job keeping the condensation to a minimum. No mildew on our boat since we purchased and cleaned her in 2002. Terry

Humidity Mode

Yes! We leave the unit in humidity mode whenever we leave the boat for the week. The longest we have left it unattended was about 2.5 weeks. It runs for an hour or so evry so often, circulating the air and reducing the humidity. Just make sure that your bilge pump and float switch are in working order, as the unit produces some condensate water.
