In thinking about the post from RW Landau, it dawned on me... No logbook out there has what each individual personally requires. Either they have fields you dont use, or don't have the ones you desire. You end up scribbling out one for the other. Then, there's never enough space. Also, there's the high price! I thought about it, and you know what? Why not create your own? We are all on computers (obviously), and you can just print up your own! Go down to the local office supply chain, pick yourself up some high quality three holed paper, and a nice three ring binder. Maybe pick up some of those paper protectors too, to add maps and other assorted collected items, like news clippings, in your travels. Take this all home. Fire up the old computer and text program, and design the pages how you want them. Put in the fields YOU want, give yourself the space YOU desire, etc. If you picked up a binder with the right cover, you can even print up a cover design, possibly with a picture of your boat on it, to slide into it. This will be the perfect log for you, and you can add or subtract pages from the binder as needed. The only question I'd have is what fields does everyone think would be a good idea to add? Josh
