Diving platform hose on Beneteau 400

Hello All

On the diving platform there’s a hose down pipe with a button on the end. It worked once briefly but never again. Why would that be? I assume it runs off the same water pressure used for inside cabin. I can’t see any alternative.

What's the best way to check? It's not too clear where the hose leads back to but the only explanation seems to be a kink in the pipe.

Any suggestions?

it may have a clog at the end...lack of use and grunge growing will do that.

Make sure the hose is not pinched.... open the aft lazerett and you can see the hose. If all is good next step would be to make clean the nozzle as kd3 said..... could be full of crud. And of course make sure water pressure is on. Btw you do know how to make the water turn on..... not just with button on nozzle but with the on/off - hot/cold lever next to nozzle on transom.

It's made a liar of me, its working. I did clean some crud out of the nozzle so that might've done it. Yes, I did find the on/off lever. Many thanks for all the help!
