Displacemnet/ballast for 29.5

This web site's specifications give displacement for the Hunter 29.5 at 7000 lbs and ballast at 2400 lbs.I have an old Hunter brochure which gives me displacemnt at 8900 lbs and ballast at 3000 lbs.Which one is correct?Joe AquilinaSY MaverickPort of VallettaMALTA

More than one version..

..was issued for this data..On my 93-94' "29.5" ,(now sold..) the displacement was at about 8000 .I now of one version at higher displacement , and one of less.It is hard to tell wheter the boat weight was actually changed ,or only how they measure it..

Different weights or measurment systems

Alex,Thank you. My boat is a 94 boat.Perhaps the boat was lightened as the production run went on to the later years. I am sure they did not change the meaurement method and systemRegards,Joe
