Dismasted, mast envy

Every time I see a tall mast it happens to me, mast envy. It happened to me. turnbuckle connector broke and mast split at side stay connection. No injuries, thanks, but where do I begin? Hunter 23, 1985. Need mast and will probably replace all stays and connections. Good excuse to pull the boat out of the water and paint bottom. Thank you.
