Disassembly/cleaning lower mast sheaves

Has anyone here ever diassembled the lower mast sheaves on a H27 or similar model? The boat I'm working on has frozen sheaves and I'm cleaning, polishing, etc., all of the step and mast assemblies. There is a screw through a tang that appears to be the only hardware holding the shaft on which the sheaves rotate, to the mast. I removed the screws and can tap the tang clockwise and counter clockwise, but the shaft doesn't want to withdraw from the sheaves or mast. It occurred to me that there may be some trick to this I'm missing, not just corrosion. It also occurred to me that the H27 mast is sold standalone by a vendor and they have a diagram online....anyone seen such a site? I'm spraying WD40 on it, surfing the net and studying it with magnifiers, so maybe I'll have this figured out soon, but maybe I'll get lucky and someone has crossed this bridge before! Thanks Jack

Never mind!

There was a thread in the archives about replacing the sheaves...which led to the Rig-Rite, Inc. website. Now that I have seen the components, its pretty clear the axle pins are just corroded in. Nice to know its something you can easily replace! The internet is such a great thing!
