Try PortaBote

I've had a 10'PortaBote for one season. It is built like a tank. The second week I had it we had 70 mph wind gusts hit our mooring area. The PortaBote was blown across parking lot, broke one removable seat, replaced for $40.00 with no other damage to boat. Two other aluminum boats were smashed or almost doubled over. Boat folds to 4" thick but seats fills a large duffle bag. I store in H26 cabin on road; on deck or tow on water. Paid $1100 from Cabelas. Check out web site portabote.com. Purchased with plans to keep dingy when I can eventually afford a larger boat, not let go with H26 because fabric is dry rotted as with an inflatable. I would buy it again. PS: saw PortaBote at Cleveland boat show this Jan. they have new plastic seats in lieu of wood like mine.
