I would like to find an economical solution to dingy stowage. Currently I tow it but not ideal in my mind.I have seen a number of Davit systems where the dingy is raised but my complaint with that is that in rough weather it seems to bounce around a lot and the other major issue is that they extend the boat length by 3-4 feet which would force me into a larger slip. I am envisioning a system that is more commonly seen on power boats where one side of the dingy is hooked to the transom and then the other side raised so it stores vertically on one side. It may be possible to mount the brackets slightly higher on the swim grid and stow it with very little additional length. The dingy is an inflatable with a hard insertable floor and inflatable bottom keel so it is fairly rigid. Has this been done before? Any ideas? Thanks in advance,Don
