Have never had to paint one but would do a test on the paint to check its stiction and flexibility on a piece of fabric backed vinyl first. Vinyl spray paints are sold in most hardware stores but do not know how they would work for this application. I have always covered my dinghys and present one is 12 years old and still looks good. It is just now completing 5 months on the sea and will then go with us to Arizona for fishing the Colorado river this winter. I am sure you will get more info on which paint to use. Chief

Chief;
If you can catch a 20 lb. stripper with a car like I did once, you get an atta a boy award.
Once someone suggested painting water colors to a deck of a boat. I looked at him being serious looking and could not help busting out laughing.

Hi Dave: Got a 25" Ling Cod the other day but had to use an ol' anchovie! ha Have you used the regular vinyl paint on oneof these inflatables or know someone who did? I really do think it would work as it is recommended for automotive vinyl upholstery. OK, tell us how you caught that fish with a car also! Chief

Old man 80 plus bought a trailer for a mineute 18 daysailor with a deep keel draft of water line to bottom of keel 7' 6" bought trailer from me that I had specially built but refused to buy an extension. Backed up fast and tried to jerk that boat off trailer stopping with 6 inches of water above driver door and left engine running. I went out driver door and swam around to rock boat off when someone yelled out, Car 54 you are sinking. Well looked back, car was floating out to sea with engine still running. That was an oh BLank. Car took on water like the Titanic and dove head first into the water. Engine gasped a last gulp. Held car fast with trailer still attached. Did launch that boat. A lot of laughing going on and another oh BLANK. Tied hemp rope to bumper and three vehicles pulled me out. Car dragging, opened door to let water out and that darn stripper swam out swear it was a whopper but most said 20 pounder. Got car up to top of ramp and for giggles tried to start and that darn car started to my whatever. Funny part the Walt Disney film crew who were at the marina filming What About Bob actually got that on film but was embarrassed and said no to have that put in the movie. Dumb part on my move. A heck of a fish story but all true.
Not sure about the vinyl paint but suggest calling technical with the mfg.

BMA: We didn't hijack anything as we also indicated our opinion concerning the vinyl paint. Chief

Last year I pulled my dingy out of storage and it looked surprisingly like yours. Stained and well worn. Its a 12 year old West Marine (zodiac) 310 RIB with a folding transom. I used the Tuff product to bring it back to life. It worked well and looked great. My only issue was that the paint or coating is very susceptible to hard scratches and scuffs and will show through. However, it does take a touchup pretty well. All in all after 1 season I'm ok with it and would use it again.
