dinghy davits

HI every one I got an 1980 h-30 with dinghy davit's on it they are half moonone on each side the owener that hade the boat be for me never used them an I can'tfind any thing that look like them to see how you would use them. Thear is a blockthat comes of the back stay looks like some one used this to left with.Has any one seen any thig like this?Don Robinson,

Todd's Inflatable Carrier?

Sounds like a Todd's Inflatable Carrier. The attached Link is to the Boat/US catalog page for it.
