Dinged up Keel

Need some help! Last summer i hit a submerged rock in Long Island sound.

When the boat was hauled, i found a large divit had been taken off the front bottom portion of the keel. It is probably about 1 inch deep (from bow to stern) . Looks like it took the point off.

Any suggestions on how to repair it?

West System with the pink filler. You mix the epoxy and then mix in the low-density #407 filler.

There are lots of other things to use out there, but West is the best, in my opinion.

When I did the initial work on my Catalina smile, I used West with their high density filler (403 & 406 if I recall) on the inner layers & then when I was on the outer layers where I wanted to be able to sand it smooth for paint, I used the 407..good stuff.
