The table of my H31 is stuck to the aluminum post and the aluminum post is in turn stuck to the sole mount. In order to take them apart is it just a matter of some WD40 and tapping away the table until it comes off the post and then tapping at the post to loosen it from the mount. It may a dumb question but I have broken things before because it made sense to do it that way. Thank you Ed

What we did

We had this problem when we purchased our boat. It sounds like your table is more of a problem than ours. We sprayed it with WD40 and tapped it with a rubber mallot. It finally came loose.

WD is a better cleaner than lube!

I find that WD-40 is better and loosening things and removing corrosion than it is for a lubricant and protectant. Like the rest of you I also use WD to free up the table leg and then clean the post and the receiver with WD to get all of the corrosion free. Then I use either Mclube or one of other lubricants to spray on the tube and the receivers. You should do this once or twice each season to keep them corrosion free and easy to R
