Dimensions for rail behind catbird seats and navpod

Help! I am unable to get down to my boat for a few days to take measurements and was wondering if anyone knows the standard dimension/diameter for the rail behind the catbird seats and on the navpod. I am trying to order accessories and this bit of data is required - and I cannot find it anywhere in the catalina specs. 7/8"? 1"? 1.5"? Anyone know?

Don't know if this helps any, but I use the largest size Magma BBQ clamp adapter on my rails (2003 C350). Seems like that ought to give you a gauge to check in the West Marine catalog.

Quick Edit: The West catalog shows that mount as accomodating 1 1/8" to 1 1/4" rails. The smaller mount (too small for my rail) accommodates 7/8" to 1".

Call "Warren" at Catalina in Largo FL (where the 387 is made) Phone # 727-544-6681.

It is really hard to catch him when you call, if you leave a number he may not call back for a while. Most of the time when I call, if he does not answer, I call back later.

He is "the man" for info, if he does not know the answer to a question, he can get the answer or tell you where to get the answer. Has is always be friendly and helpful.
