I looked at both last year
and found them to be quite different in several ways. The C310 is considerably heavier and does not have a good 2nd stateroom, being aimed at a single cruising couple with occasional guests. The lighter H320 has better interior if you have children or regular guests. Then there is the different rig philosophy between Hunter and Catalina. You have to decide which of these factors is most important for the way you want to sail. Go to a boat show, bring a tape measure and checklist of important features, and spend some time on both of them to decide.
