Different keels for Hunter 28?

I am thinking of buying a 89 Hunter 28 that has a shoal keel. Did they make this boat with a fin keel? If not, how is the upwind performance with the shoal keel?

GREAT BOAT!

Rick, hmmm, have we talked? The H28 is a great boat. She points high, but a bit tender with so much sail. I've had her up to 9.5 knots on a return trip from Poulsbo last year with just the jib in a south wind. She has almost 3,000 pounds of ballast, which really helps keep her stable. Very quick on her feet, and solos nicely. I do not believe Hunter was making a fin keel version at that model year. Terry S/V Our Quest
