different buzzer models on engine panel?

So my engine panel buzzer started to not work then made pathetic noises and now it doesnt make any sounds at all but the light is working.

The engine is a 1985 yanmar 2gm20f and looking at the back of the buzzer has 4 wires coming from the back of it. Trying to get a replacement hasnt been so easy as the dealer wasnt sure which one it was. Anyone know?

The Yanmar part number is #104271-91351 and sells for $190.95. Check the archives as I believe someone had found a substitute buzzer that could be used and was much cheaper. Contact Phil at the Chandlery here as I believe at one time they had a substitute part.

Had the same problem. check for continuity of the wire from the sender to the panel. a new wire was all that was required to fix the problem.
