I am shopping for a 170 and I have found a few (out of town) that are new 2005 models. I was wondering if there were any significant changes between 2005, 2006 and 2007.
Difference in recent years.

It did not say what year. I do not know the boat or the owner. They are asking 6K with a 2HP motor and trailer. It is a 5 hour trip but a nice weekend stop. I can give you the number if you want to talk to the seller.

Hey JerryA If the only difference is the sail maker, unless someone can tell me something I don't know, I see no problem with an earlier year with a few dollar savings. I was most concerned about any design upgrades. And as far as the warranty goes, if I can get it through the next few hurrican seasons, I'll be happy. The Kid.

170 Great price!
My local dealer in Arkansas has a couple of 170's between 2000 and 2002 models that he will let go for $3500.00. They are brand new and are in pretty good shape. email me and let me know if your interested and i'll give you some more details. The boats have been stored outside but are in overall good shape. I just bought one from him a couple of weeks ago and The boat sails wonderfully.
