I'm trying to find out the story behind the 22 and the 222. Why did O'day start making the 222? What's the main benefits or differences? Is one better than the other? Where could I find out how many were made? If anyone knows of a website that would provide this information, please let me know. Thanks! Kelie

I also would be interested in this history. I personally liked the low profile of the 222 over the 22, but never sailed a 22. Is there a difference in performance?

You'll be able to compare spec's of both models. According to their information only 131 222's were built compared to over 3,000 22's. I don't know how accurate that is or where else to check.
