I am sorry. What do you mean “the injectors were popped”? They were removed and receive professional cleaning and repair? Or you removed them, looked at them and then returned them to the engine?
Did the engine start and run smoothly before you “popped them” and before the “exhaust elbow broke”?
What is “Difficult to start” condition mean to you? The engine will not start? The engine cranks but does not start? The engine takes 5 seconds to start where it used to take 2?
These engines are simple. They require clean fuel in the correct quantity, sufficient air, and an engine that provides compression of the fuel air mixture.
Please clarify if you need help diagnosing the problem. If you are using clean fresh fuel then there should not be a need for an additive.
