Does STP diesel fuel treatment act as a fuel stabilizer for diesel or do I need to look for something else?

Below is what STP claims their tratment does, no where doses it make claims to be a stabilizer. I would look for something else to use for that purpose. STP® Diesel Fuel Treatment & Injector Cleaner helps: Save fuel by keeping injectors clean Maintain performance by preventing deposit build-up, corrosion and rust Fight fuel line freeze and wax gel formation. Check with you favorite marine store, I'm sure they will have what you need.

Diesel Satabilizer
Try to get some Startron Diesel fuel additive. It helps with moisture in the fuel and is a biocide. Pricy though, but worth it. Can get it at all leading marine supply houses. Comes in a 8oz blue bottle. Have used it for 3 years now with no problems.

ONLY if it SAYS STABILIZER
I wouldn't trust it beyond that. It's cheap enough to buy a container of Diesel Stabilizer. Any auto store (Pep Boys, Auto Zone, etc.) will carry it.
