Sure, Here's a copy of the post, Peggie

Cleaning Da Bilge Submitted by George Kornreich of Galveston Bay on 11/11 at 05:08PM regarding General_interest. Peggie, I posted this yesterday, but it seems to have disappeared into cyber never-never land, so please excuse me if it shows up in duplicate, What's the best way to clean the bilge. Most of the cleaners direct you to add it to the bilge water and let it slop around there, but most of the bilge is dry, so that won't work. Does it make sense to spray a cleaner solution into all the nooks and cranies (many not too accessable) with a garden pump sprayer and then rinse it with a hose. Eventually I guess it waii all find its way to the miniscule wet bilge. Maybe there's a better way??? As usual, many thanks for your excellent advice.

Lotsa elbow grease

Just slopping around some soapy water and a rinse won't clean the gunk out of your bilge. Get some of bristle brushes, sponges with pads, lots of paper towels and soap. Stuff like simple green works fine. Remove the floorboards over the bilge and have at it. When its all done, then you can add a little soapy water to rinse her out. Not a fun job but its nice to have a sqeaky clean bilge. Boat will smell better too.

I've been down that road,

but there are places no arm can reach, such as under tanks, etc. I can get some solution sprayed in most of these places, but I agree that that's not too effective, and need to find a better way. Thanks
