If it is anywhere needing recertification you could request that it be repacked in a soft valise. We keep ours (6 person Switlik) in the cabin most of the time and put it in the cockpit for passage making. That keeps it out of the weather and away from thieving eyes. Of course it only weighs about 80 pounds.

We have basically sacrificed the quarter berth for space for 2 folding bikes, a dinghy, the liferaft, a foldit cart and fold up cockpit shade.

You could always upgrade to a much bigger boat! Seems to me that it is too large to handle and store and too costly too maintain. You should cut your losses and either sell it or find an alternative use for it.

Like most of the others I think you did !!!!. Understand the great price but 230 Lbs ? For 16 persons ? You got a great price so shouldn't be too hard to sell and get one for 4-6 persons. Good luck

Yup, sell it.

Rafts depend in part on people for ballast; that raft will flip in a blow.

It's too big for one guy to launch in a pinch.

Don't sell it. Just move to Texas. Your boat will instantly catch up in size. (I know. That was weak. But I had to try to help out my favorite bassist.)
