I will be replacing my depth sounder transducer. The present cable was spliced close to the connector. I suspect this was in order to get it through a tight spot. I'd like to avoid cutting the new cable. Is there any wisdom out there regarding paths through the hull and deck that will allow room for the coupling to pass. The unit is mounted on the starboard side on the cabin bulkhead just above the head. thanks, sherod

First you gotta

I have a 94 30t so here is what i had to do last year use your old wires as a mouse and tape the new ones real good to the old ones then get yourself a can of silicone spray to lube the new cable or soap will work in a pinch take up the flooring and you will see where it goes into piping then go to the electic panel and open her up and keep taking tape and the flex plastic conduit apart from all the neat wrapings until you find your old cable.Have a buddy lube and feed the cable while you pull the cable to that point, then go to the the head and remove the panel on the ceiling and pull from that point hook everything back up and you still can make happy hour
