depth finder and speed indicator

On my newly purchased 1974 O'Day 27, neither the speed indicator nor the depth finder are working. I haven't hauled it out yet, so the problem may just be fouling. I have power to both units, but they don't register any data.The depth finder is a "Datamarine CD400 Corinthian Performance Series" and the speed indicator is labled "Ships Speed" at the top of the display and "CMS" at the bottom.I would appreciate any comments and suggestions.Thanks, JimC

Depth Finder

When I first bought my Oday19 the depth finder registered all 0s. I found that the transponder had become loose from the hull. I cleaned the hull surface and re-cemented the transponder. Works fine now.
