I am starting to get a spongy cockpit sole, about 10 inches forward of the steeing pedestal. I think I have the water entry problems solved, but have some questions about repair. Is it possible to cut into the headliner and repair from the bottom to prevent destroying the nonskid? It seems like I could cut out a section of the headliner, repair the damage and refiberglass the liner. Has anyone tried this? I would appreciate any input. I do not want to cut into anything that is structural. Thanks for any response. John, C30TR
