Anyone familiar with the Dehler brand of boats. An old coworker has a 1986-31 footer he is wanting to sale. He's done some gulf racing in it and tells me it's pretty fast and handles upwind great. Anyone pro or con information on them would be greatly appreciated.

I took sailing lessons on one.
Is was a pleasing boat. a good example of German engineering and design. Its light air performance was good. It carries well we sailed through a railroad bridge to and from the marina, there is a wind shadow under the bridge and the sails would go slack but she carried well enough to slip through and fill the sails again. If the price was right and I wanted a boat I wold buy it.
