Decorative Flooring

My wife and I would like to add decorative wood flooring to our H240. This would be the typical wood verneer (light/dark stripe) seen on most larger sailboats. Does anyone know where this can be located? Attaching it will be the next riddle given the water ballast. I will probably silicone bond it down in just a few places. Any help on this?

What you're looking for is a teak & holly sole

And it is available in veneers. Just be aware that it requires maintenance and doesn't stand up to much abuse.

Teak/holly sole

Put it down carefully. It looks great, but the original in my 26 had a very small leak in the seal around the edges. Once water got in there the marine ply (that the veneer is attached to) swelled up, splitting the veneer. Shoes chipped up a piece before I could reseal. Now I'm faced with a woodworking project or a new sole!

Hunte Marine(Mike thomas) would be the person to ask if you can purchase a teak and holly sole as they have the product and would be able to cut it correctly. call and ask. happy sailing
