I have a 1980 O'Day 25. There are two separate electrical connections at the mast base that are corroded. I rewired the lights in the mast (standard mast light and an after the fact set of spreader mounted deck lights). But I wish to combine the two thru deck fittings into one (they inconveniently mounted one near where the mast step pin needs to come out). The problem is that I can't get easily access to the original through deck wiring that goes through the liner near the bulkhead. Any suggestions on how to access the wire in the liner and get another wire set into that area?? Thanks, sPk

SPK bring a new wire up from the switch.
Run it from the switch behind the panel , under the port bunk, and up through the closet behind the head. Then run it along the bulkhead tight to the cabin ceiling in the head. Patch the old hole if you want then drill a new hole using the tabernacle bolts as reference inside and out.I just used the old hole. Drill the hole from outside in. Forget trying to access the old wires. You will go nuts trying. good luck r.w.landau
