Deck thickness

Hey All,

Anyone know what the thickness is of the deck and liner on the cabin top where the clutches would be? I am going to be mounting a new Spinlock clutch and would like to know how long the screws need to be ahead of time.

When I drilled a hole for my solar vent above the head (I know its sacrilige to drill holes into your boat but we needed better ventilation!) the core that I removed was an amazingly thick 1.5" - there was 1/4" of glass above & beneath sandwiching a full 1" thickness of balsa wood core. No wonder as to why these boats are so heavy and stiff.
They spared no fiberglass in building the C 30! Cheers.
