Deck skylight repair.

I have a 1984 Cat, 25 with a "skylight" that is recessed in the forward deck between the forward hatch and bow pulpit. The size of this skylight is approx. 3" x 8". The material is of some type of white transparent plexiglass to let light thru to the v-berth. This material has cracked and broken and I am writing to see if any other owners have experienced this problem and what the solution is? Does Catalina sell this particular part, or will I have to improvise and just have another piece of this material cut to size ?? Thank you for any insight you may be able to offer..

Carrol,The skylight you speak of, look on the frame to see it there is a mfg name and number, like Lewmar mod 24b. Once you find the name you can contact the manufacturer and purchase the part and sealent. I cracked the forward hatch on my old 22 and replaced it in this manner.charlie
