Deck Problem

I am also having a deck problem which I can not describe as having a soft deck. I have some long, around 12-15 inch hairline cracks on my 1988 hunter. These are too small too fix without routing out a wider crack which I hesitate to do since they are on the non-skid. When stepped on there is not a softness but there is a cracking noise. It seems like the fiberglass has pulled away from the wood core. I do no think it is due to water penetration since it is most evident when it is very hot out and once tread upon seems to be less noisy. I have thought about injecting West system into the deck but sure hate to make such visible repairs. Anybody have the same problem or suggestions? Thanks

I wouldn't hesitate to route out the cracks. The non-skid is pretty easy to replicate when you repaint using silica. Talk to a local boat yard and they can show you the technique
