I'm in the process of replacing my deck light bulb.....not sure it has ever worked in the 4 years I've owned the boat.

Here's a picture.

Anyone know if there is supposed to be a cover or lenses over it?? Also, the reflector area behind the bulb isn't very shiny, so I'm dubious as to how well the light will illuminate my deck.

The assy I'm about to replace didn't have a cover/lenses for the deck light and the new assy doesn't have one. The old reflector was very tarnished too but did clean up with some fine sand paper.

If Ever I Had To Install A New Steaming/deck Light, I Would Place It Down Where I Could Reach It From The Deck. The Deck-bulb Company Will Probably Specify To Not Touch The Bulb With Your Bare Fingers, Lest You Get Skin Oil On It.
