I have re-bedded all items on the deck and still have a major leak comming in from above the interior liner. Water runs through the interior above lighting and down behind the ash liners on both sides. Do the horziontal fixed windows or hatch bedding leak? Please advise.

Deck Leaks

I'm not familiar with the 336, but I know several people with 376s that had leaks from the two opening hatches in the main cabin. On some the water would leak directly from the windows, on others it went under the headliner and came out near the hull sides.

James,to answer your question ,yes ,the horizontal windows will leak as well as the hatch. If it is the windows they most likely will leak inside the boat not the liner and should be pretty easy to see so should the hatch as thet are both sealed and should not (notice I said should) leak inside the liner.I don't know if you sealed the compression post where it sits on the cabin top might want to check there.Maybe remove the cover plate around the compression post and some of the lights and have someone spray a hose on the boat to see where the "leak" is.Another posibility is to rebed the screws on the cover(sea hood)above the cabin top where the lines run thru. Also check the dorade vents for possible leaks.Sorry not more help but you can rule the windows out as a source because if you had one out you would see it is cut out and glased over so that it is sealed except for the screw holes that should be caulked over.At any rate good luck and keep us updated when you find where it leak is!

Deck windows might be leaking

My friend had an h420 that leaked from the skylights and came out the cabin lights. I don't understand why Hunter does not fix know problems like this. Poor engineer or just built cheap?

I have a 1996 Hunter 336. I developed leaks at my traveler bolts. I had to remove the bolts and reseat the traveler. Also had the hatch over the sinks leak. This leak did not get into the head liner, just dripped onto the counter. I had to remove and reseat the hatch fram.
