The two deck hatches on my Passage 42 were attempted to be made watertight by the previous owner. He used a soft open cell foam that was stuck on the inner raised lip of the hatch perimeter, between the rubber stops. Not a great solution as it gets worn each time you access whatever you stow in these deep lockers. I thought about 1/2" half round gasket stuck to the under side of the hatch cover but know someone has a better idea. So before I do something I may likely regret I thought of asking for advice from my faceless sailing buddies. Thanks, Walter
