Does anyone know where to locate replacement deck filler caps? They are black plastic 1 1/2". What seemed to be a replacement 1 1/2" from WM was too small.

They may be out of them, so we're all gonna have to spend mega time and $$s to switch to ss.

BUT, easy for me to say, it doesn't freeze here.
Once your diesel fill cap splits due to freeze/thaw and you get water in your tank, you'll wish that you'd changed over soone than later.

I have an '87 272 and found a replacement fuel cap. I can get the info in about 2 wks as to where I purchased. I have diesel inboard, and when I received the cap, it indicated 'GAS' on placard, but no description on cap. Is RED in color, but fit perfectly. Plastic, not SS... And Yes, I had water in fuel tank - suspect faulty O ring... Tried WM and their 'replacements' weren't right size, and couldn't find correct O ring. About $8 if I remember... Cheap considering problems associated with water in fuel...

You might try this place; although the ones they advertise here are at 1 1/4". Just bought a couple for the Bavaria; fit perfectly.
