Deck Backing Plates

Does anyone know the location of the backing plates on the H260 deck.? Are the rope clutch 'pads' the only areas that are backed with aluminum? I plan on installing some additional rope clutches and cleats for aft lead control lines and I would rather not cut access holes in the headliner. Thanks in advance.. Raised areas

Stephen, The raised areas that have no anti skid molded in are the only areas with backing plates embedded in the fiberglass. Other than that, there are backing plates under the stanchions and behind the cleats. That's all. Good luck, Jim Covey s/v Wampeter

If your owner's manual does't show this information, a simple call to customer service at Hunter Marine will be best advised for the location of the plates in the areas you are thinking about adding equipment.
