Advice needed on what to do to a h26 for a winter lay up on the hard. Boat will sit in the driveway for a month for repairs and mods, then will be taken to the local 4H fairgrounds for indoor storage. Temps in Indiana range from 50 to -10 throughout the winter. What do you recommend I remove/drain/cover/etc? Thanks.

Pretty simple

Drain all water (ballast, potable, head). Close ballast valve (to keep 4H mice from nesting in the ballast tank). Remove stored snacks, drinks, etc. Bring engine, battery, and sails into the garage. Wait for spring

On the hard

Rule of thumb is to do on the hard that which you cannot do in the water, namely clean and repaint the bottom, clean the thru-hulls, wax the sides and stern, etc.

Antifreeze

If you have a forced water system in your boat, don't forget to empty the water and run RV antifreeze through it until it comes out both faucets.
