Hi fellow Oday Daysailers,

I'm looking for a few things for my 1968 DS1
Cabin: fiberglas shelves that hang from the brackets,
Cabin: door for bow storage compartment
Floor: Wood type? / pattern to built by my self?

What was the original mast of the DS1.

Any thoughts of feedback greatly appreciated:

I'd suggest checking out the Day Sailer Class Association web site, I'm sure someone can help you find these parts. I"m confused about your question on the mast...... the mast was basically the same for all Day Sailers, stepped through the cuddy top onto a step located on the "inner keel" that connects the CB trunk to the forward air-tank. Some early model years may have had a "mast jack" to adjust the rigging tension instead of a simple mast step . A mast-jack was a bronze pin that was fitted under hte bottom of hte mast and had a threaded disk that lifted the mast tensioning hte stays. The DS I mast is a few inches longer than hte mast on a DS II like mine since hte mast step is lower in the boat on hte DS I.
Again, the DS sailiers on hte DSA site will be able to help with this.
