I am an early riser in the morning. I often enjoy leaving port before dawn. I took this shot in October 2006 after having left Genoa Bay in Canada's Gulf Islands bound for my home port of Tsehum Harbor. There were jets up there above me heading who knows where. Do you have any favorite pictures of dawn from your vessel?

Sure, but yours has my mother-in-law in it!

Really, they live on a ridge just south of in Cowichan Bay which should be in picture if this is the view heading south out of Genoa Bay. Cherry Point Marina would be in the right side of the flick.

Stu's Mother-in-Law

I am sure I saw your mother-in-law Stu as I went by. She was standing on her deck in her robe gazing out to sea, obviously waiting for her favorite son-in-law to come sailing up the channel from San Fran. She is lucky to live in a delightful part of the planet. Nice pictures guys!! Pete

Dawn offshore

There is nothing like dawn when 100 miles offshore. This was taken last summer while helping Seadance's hubby bring their new boat home from Cape Coral.
