Davits on a Beneteau First 310?

Hi, we are new to this forum. We have a Beneteau First 310. My partner and I are outfitting the boat for island hopping in the Bahamas. Has anyone put dinghy davits on this particular boat, is this doable?

Don't know about your boat, but we installed Garhauer on our 373 and are extremely happy. Also, had very happy results with them on previous boats. Suggest you contact them.

I just purchased a set of Martek 600 davits for my Catalina 36. For me these davits support 300lbs each and the swivel. The swiveling feature allows me to put the RIB on the back before I go on an extended cruise, and not pay for a bigger slip (if I could even get one). I did get the top support bar for when I move to more reasonable moorage location. For now the swivel also allows me to lift my outboard onto the mount without getting a dedicated motor lift.

A fellow at the other end of the marina has davits on his 323. Looks so easy, I might do it on mine. When he's back in the water I'll get pics for you.

Hi Ron, that sounds great, would love some pics. So far I've only managed to find davits on the larger Beneteaus, not anything below 35ft.

Kinda like a roof rack on a Camaro don't ya think? A folding transom RIB with a lifting harness can be used to bring the boat aboard via one of your halyards. Mount a motor lift astern if you need help shipping the outboard.
