Hello, Has anyone put davits on a H336? I would be hanging a 8.5' zodiac with 3.3 Merc. If this has been done, which davits and were there any lessons learned? thank you, Bob Pilgrim
Bob Not a precise answer to your question but the transom is basically similar to out 40.5 on which we put the Cruising Concepts davits. The installation instructions are thorough but for a few steps involved in trimming the stern seats to facilitate installation. The whole process took less than 2 hours and makes it much easier to travel with the dinghy not to mention that the last time I had to clean the bottom of it was 3 years ago. We have a 10 foot Avon with 5 hp outboard on the light duty model. I can take a pic of it if you're interested Don Illusion
